Report of the French Championships in Angers, November 19 to 22, 2015 by Matthieu, the coach of our 2 champions, proud of his swimmers.
“The championships went very well for our two representatives of the JAD: Chloe and Thomas”
It was a first national stage before the next French Elite Championship in the big pool in Montpellier at the end of March .
“This competition was a first opportunity for them to compete with the national competition . “
“Their goals were simple: to improve their best personal performances in the short pool and to get closer to the youth finals, gathering the minimal and junior categories, very difficult to access because our swimmers are not in a year of strong age”.
“The goals have been fully realized: the swimmers have come close to the finals and greatly reduced their personal records and, at the same time, departmental records”.
Congratulations to Chloe and Thomas!
A big thank you to Matthieu,
to Jean-Louis, our “national” and “international” official, who was present in Angers … for proof, we even saw it on the pages of “L’Equipe Magazine”! to the right of Jérémy Stravius, gold medalist in the men’s 4 × 100 freestyle relay at the 2012 Olympic Games in London.
to Dorine, our home physiotherapist, for her availability to our swimmers.
For the occasion, all the swimmers wanted to pay tribute to the victims of the attacks in Paris by wearing a black cap with the logo of peace and the Parisian motto ” Fluctuat Nec Mergitur “, the motto of the coat of arms of the city of Paris ” Is beaten by the waves but never dark .
