This Monday, June 25, is a beautiful hike, very nature, most pleasant walks to end the sports season.
In the morning visit of the domain of Sceaux, imprint of History and … of stories. We are on the lands of the Minister of the Sun King Who Bought the place in 1670. The castle Was His country house. Not bad to relax!
There is plenty of room for lavish parties when the Duke and Duchess of Maine became the owners in the early 18th century. Who was the Duke of Maine? The guests enjoyed themselves a lot … while they were bored at the fastidious festivals of Louis XIV.
In the afternoon, walk in the Châtenay-Malabry Arboretum. Take our steps and follow us silently to better appreciate the place.
We finish our little bucolic hike by the Green Island , Jules Barbier, intimate garden of playwright.
We are in the Vallée-aux-Loup.
We only have a pig and a tuskless elephant.
This is the last and pleasant hike, very vegetal, about 10 kms with our guide “darling” Xavier.
